Degrees

I have a Distinction-grade MPhil in Classics from the University of Cambridge and a First-Class Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of East Anglia.

Teaching Experience

I completed School-Centred Initial Teacher Training in Classics in 2024, giving me Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). During my teacher training, I taught Latin to pupils from Year 7 all the way up to Year 13. I also taught Classical Greek to KS3 and KS4 pupils.

I have over 200 hours of experience of tutoring in Latin. I have privately tutored pre-GCSE pupils, GCSE pupils, and A-Level pupils, as well as independent learners who are not intending to attain a particular qualification.

Moreover, I have taught over 50 lessons of Ancient Greek on my YouTube channel. Finally, I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.

Personal Interests

In my spare time, I am learning Russian, Polish, and German. I have been learning Russian for longer than the other two (namely, two years) and I am at least B1 by CEFR standards.
